English Portfolio

I.  The Portfolio will have a recollection of all the Works done in class.  All these works will be in the page call Port-Blog.

·        Oral Reports

·        Activities

·        Special Works

·        Assessments

·        Group Works

II. In the other pages of the Portfolio will be filled during the year having the value of a grade as follows.

·        Welcome page  and Autobiography = 100

·        Port-Blog will be evaluated separetly

·        Cook Book will be evaluated as a group work, value =100

·        Essay and A Cause to think of…=100

III. Instructions for next week:  Welcome and Autobiography.

               Welcome Page

·        Search for a Peace Nobel Prize winner.  Read why he/she won the prize. Write a Persuasive paragraph telling why you believe he/she deserve it and then write a second paragraph welcoming the readers of all over the world that are reading your blog.  Your welcoming paragraph should include that you are a student and you are learning English as a foreign language.  Value 50 pts

·        If is not a persuasive paragraph you’ll lose all the points, and for every grammatical error you’ll lose a (1) point.

Autobiography

·        The Autobiography is a narrative paragraph telling a story about yourself.

·        If is not a narrative paragraph you’ll lose all the points, and for every grammatical error you’ll lose a (1) point.

·        Use the following questions as a guide to build your paragraph.  As a bonus include a picture (5points).

o   Name (only the name not your last names)

o   Family members (only the name not your last names)

o   Things that you like, sports, hobbies and others (be careful what information you include)

o   Tell stories of things that happened to you during your life at least (three stories)

REMEMBER to write in the pages you need to edit them.
